G_ME ON!

.
Lost in an endless spiral of blogs, I ran across some Scrabble-inspired wall tiles. Couple that with the fact that the Mr. and I always have a game of Wordfeud going on our phones and it seemed logical to see what else was out there.
.

.
Wouldn't you know it? The fabulous Dawn has it all right here from this old post that still reads just as relevant today. Just look at the cupcakes she posted about for starters!
.

.
A quick search on Etsy turned up more scrabble goodies.

Drink charms...
.

.
and coasters are just the tip of the iceberg!
.

.
Whether you buy or DIY some of these, here are some simple ideas on how to have a fun night in with friends. (Have I mentioned I am a total game nerd? T_ue st_ry.)

Gone To The Dogs

.
I love this pawty from
Dinner Bells for so many reasons.
.
It's different and unique.
.
My sister has a Westie and they rock.
.
I.Love.Dogs. Or "puppers" as I may or may call them, if you must know.
.
.
Just look at the little birthday "boy", Jack. What a cutie.
.
.
The sweets table was filled with treats for both humans and Jack's canine crew as well. The hanging tennis balls are an homage to Jack's love of them and a ridiculously cute touch.
.
.
Check out Dinner Bells blog for all the details on the treats. She really outdid herself.
.
.
Colorful punch jars make such a big impact and this was no exception. Add in some adorable ribbon swag and you have a statement!
.
Thanks so much for sharing this darling party. It's Top Dog!

Camp Ellie

.
Reader Angela sent in this adorable camping party with a girlie twist that she threw for 4-year old daughter, Ellie.
.

.
Guests were invited to camp via this bright and bold invitation by Daina of Kottage on 5th. Daina also designed all the water bottle labels and favor tags.
.

.

.
For a fun and affordable backdrop for the dessert table, Angela used colorful streamers that and twisted every other streamer to create a nice effect. Add that to your Idea File, people!
.

.
The dessert featured a darling cake made by a friend, "dirt cups" with gummy worms, Campfire cupcakes, brown flower pots filled with tissue paper and goldfish crackers, gummy bears, gummy worms, and gummy frogs.

More details can be found here on Angela's blog. You'll want to check out the fun shot of the finale of the night, a movie under the stars on a giant screen!

Something This Cute Takes A Village

.
So....I opened my email this morning to find this adorable party from Natalie and knew I had to share immediately. She didn't just create a little sweets theme birthday table for her daughter Sophia, she created a village.
.
Welcome to scenes from "Sweetopia."
.
.
.
.
.
These are just a few of the marvelous details Natalie included. I promise there is much more to satisfy your sweet tooth here on Natalie's blog post. Five out of five party planners recommend you go take a look.
.
Thanks for sharing, Natalie. My dental bill is in the mail.

Fab Frilly Milly

.
Frilly Milly Events has recently put out some truly inspiring events. The details are just spectacular. If you haven't already, you must see for yourself.
.
I am overboard for this nautical baby boy shower.
.

.

.

.
I can't event begin to describe all the wonderful details in this Lumberjack and Jill party. It is now one of my favorite parties I've seen online. It's that good. That corn alone is killing me.
.

.
This baby girl shower is so tweet. Loving the design on the printed items.
.

.

.
If Frilly Milly isn't among your regular reads then perhaps it's time you add it. I can't wait to see what is next!

Snips and Snails Shower

.
This rustic and homey take on a Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails baby shower by Moo Moos and Tutus is so warm and inviting.
.
.
Simple daisies are given a rustic touch with burlap wraps and the old fashioned embroidered napkins continue the homey feel.
.
.
Tree stump stand and burlap cupcake wraps make this sweets station very inviting! The color pallette for this shower is just so soothing.
.
.
.
Sweet little mason jar favors and labels are the perfect take home. The whole theme was carried out with printables used in different ways throughout.
.

.
Little wishes on smooth rocks are a nice keepsake for baby Colin!
More details can be found from this adorable baby boy shower here.

EleWant

.
Kelly of WH Hostess and The Party Dress has such a talent for creating a line of party goods that inspires an entire party theme. She really is a star in my book.

Case in point: The elephant parade.
.
.
This multicolor invitation sparked this unbelievably adorable elephant birthday party. Oh how I love those colors against that white backdrop. Want.
.
.
The canopy from IKEA is sheer perfection for this sweets table filled with treats and custom labels. Want.
.
.
The elephant cut outs on the treat bag add one more touch to take this over the top. I'm dying over the cookies, too! Want.
All of the details and other resources can be found here on Kelly's post on The Party Dress.
Kelly, you've done it again, my friend. Thanks so much for sharing!

.
Stiletto Studio sent me the most perfect Kiwi party all the way from New Zealand. This birthday party was full of all things New Zealand and is a fantastic inspiration for those living anywhere on Earth. Just think of all the things that make your hometown/state/country unique and build your party around it.

I'm going to entice you with photos and then send you over to Becs to get all the how to's. Go give some love to this talented Kiwi.

Goodwill Hunting

.
Rachel from Dinner Bells recently sent over the most fun little lingerie shower she threw for a friend. That dresser? A cheap find that she customized. Do we love that or do.we.love.that?
.
.
Such a fun and vibrant color palette. I mean, really, look at that dresser full of girly frills.
.
.
Go to Rachel's blog to read about the story behind the cake. Too funny.
.
.
Adorable drink signs for alcholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
.
.
Thanks so much, Rachel, for sending this over. I'll see you all at Goodwill to find some miniature furniture!

A Golden (Gate) Goodbye

.
I'll give you ONE guess where the guest of honor was moving away from in this party by Oh Baby! .....
.
.
I love how Oh Baby! made this retirement, moving away party so personal. From the drink station with the guest of honor's favorite drink to postcards of San Francisco made into a special keepsake guestbook, there are details around every corner (or mabye it's over every hill in the case of San Fran).
.
.
How clever is that sweets table backdrop? Move over Rice A Roni because I see lots of San Francisco treats I want on this table!
.

.
Check out Oh Baby! for more details. Thanks for sharing!
