Operation Give Thanks: Time To Party!

.

So, while I was out on vacation, we launched "Operation Give Thanks" for Operation Shower. If you've been around any of your favorite blogs this last week, you may have heard of it. If not, here is the brief version:

Operation Give Thanks is a nation-wide fundraising campaign to help Operation Shower continue our mission to throw amazing baby showers for military families to ease the burden of deployment.

We are often asked how to best help Operation Shower. We decided that since Operation Shower gives back to our military families through parties, so can YOU !

We are asking people across the nation to host a party, big or small, between now and the end of the year to raise money for Operation Shower. What a wonderful way to express your gratitude and thanks at this special time of year — and have fun!

Our long-term goal is to reach every military base in the nation. Our short-term goal is to raise $50,000 through Operation Give Thanks to enable us to shower over 200 more moms-to-be ! That’s right, if you raise $250 for Operation Shower, that helps us to throw a full amazing baby shower with gifts for a military mom to be whose spouse is deployed!

One amazing aspect of this campaign is that some of my fellow party girls and friends have donated free printable collections for your parties!

While the collections are free, we would be honored if you would consider making a small donation to Operation Shower if you aren't using these to host a party to benefit Operation Give Thanks. Just a small way to give back and get something so incredibly cute in return. They all did a fabulous job!
Please visit our brand new website for more details and a peek at the collections I will be featuring this week!

What kind of party will you be hosting?

Love this idea..need a friend to get preggers soon! I stumbled upon your blog through Operation Shower. Love love love what you ladies are doing with Operation Shower. I'm from CA but if there is any way that I could get involved with this cause (help with party set-up, packaging), I would really like to know.
