I am so excited to be doing a shower for twins in a few weeks! I can't wait to see how it turns out. You know how you have something in your head and you just want to see it in real life? That's how I am right now. Don't think I haven't thought about doing a "fake" shower in my dining room just to see it. So, until I either reach full insanity and do a pretend shower or until after the shower itself, here's a peek at the invitations.
(Oh, and yes, I did a rather caveman-like job at blotting out the names and personal info. Ugh.)
...make centerpieces. Just thought I'd share some pics from last night's dinner with friends at our house. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get a picture of the wonderful meal my husband made. So silly. It was delish. The decor might not have matched the Indian cuisine (with traditional Indian dessert we perfected on the third batch) but it sure was summery and easy. Lemons, cylinder vases, scrapbook paper "runner", some fabric sashes on the chairs, and three bunches of lilies are all you need to recreate this look. (Okay, and some ribbon, chargers, white tablecloth, napkins, a little bit of time, a slightly obsessive attention to detail and just a hint of paprika.)
What? No baby shower post? I know. I am as shocked as you are. I had to take a break from our regularly scheduled programming to introduce you to another Aimee. She's the genius behind Creative Montage.
Here are a just a few reasons why you should go to her site immediately and check out all of the cute.

Time is precious this week, so I'll give you a little bit of another taste in hopes you come back for more. Suddenly I sound like a drug dealer and not an event planner.
The Sweetest Thing shower! Here is a sneak peek...
