If you're like me, you have at least a mental list of some of your favorite parties you've seen online. When sweet and talented Katie sent me this surprise 60th birthday luncheon she threw for her mom, it instantly went on my list.

Carnation pomanders are some of my favorite things. Simple to do for such a big impact. How Katie mixed the subtle color palette with natural elements is nothing short of stunning.

How gorgeous is the mix of patterns on the tables and the backdrop with the goody bags from Hobby Lobby?

The menus and placecards are such great little pops of color. The carnation pomanders on stands were mixed with floral-covered manzanita branches.

The sweets table featured a giant "C" (that she created by cutting a round form into...smart!) and cupcake toppers covered in moss. Not just any moss either. My favorite moss of all....reindeer moss. Move over Kate.
As gorgeous as this party is, it's equally, if not more, lovely to read Katie's post about all of the other details. Framed photos of her mom, letters written by loved ones and so much more.
Visit Katie's post here to read more and see more of this memorable party. I have a feeling it's going on a lot of your lists, too!
