Simple Indeed

Better Homes and Gardens (www.bhg.com) has an endless amount of inspiration all year long and the holidays are no exception. There are so many great ideas that anyone can recreate. Here is just a sampling of some I'm loving right now.

Aren't those gazing balls in the first picture fantastic? Cookie cutters in the kitchen...adorable. A simple table runner of these ornaments in grass would look so fresh.

Oh, and expect to see "Happy New Year" in Scrabble in the entry at our house this year as I lovingly force people to play board games with me on New Year's Eve. Yes, I'm that girl.

Come play with me, Natalie!

Annette - I am going to pretend I thought of that b/c I feel ridiculous for not having done so years ago! Don't tell anyone.

I LOVE the use of the scrabble tiles! What a unique idea - time to dust off the scrabble box in the closet!

Great ideas - I think I need to get a scrabble game just for decorating! ;)

Using items that you have already around the house to decorate for Christmas is brillant. The scrabble brings back memories of playing with my cousins during the holidays. Good times!

OMG! The cookie cutter idea is clever. I have tons of cookie cutters, I will have to use that idea.

I know, BHG is so cool to me right now, and I, too, love the cookie cutter idea, mostly because I don't bake, and I'm always using them for non-cookie making ideas.

I love gazing balls! Outside in the garden, though. I've seen gazing balls used as a centerpiece for garden spinner. I think they're positively dazzling!
